Keith Wilson worked as a designer on the second series of Thunderbirds, before graduating to production designer on Captain Scarlet alongside John Lageu. He then became art director on Joe 90 and The Secret Service, and also served as production designer on both seasons 1 and 2 of Space:1999.
Modelmaker and artist Alan Shubrook joined the Century 21 special effects team run by Derek Meddings in 1966 at the tender age of 19. He went on to work on Thunderbirds, Captain Scarlet, Joe 90 and UFO, plus countless other TV shows. He recently appeared in the 2008 documentary 'All About Thunderbirds' and has written two books on the special effects of Derek Meddings and TV21.
Both Wilson and Shubrook are scheduled to attend the full weekend of the convention. The news follows the confirmation of Gerry Anderson, Shane Rimmer and Gary Files at the backend of 2009, and with more guest announcements on the way attendees can look forward to an exciting program of talks and workshops to suit all interests.
